About this app

Where's My Seat?・Logic Puzzles drops you into tiny rooms, short clue lists, and a handful of quirky characters who all need the right chairs. Play a level by reading 3–6 hints, cross-checking who can sit next to whom (or not), and then assigning seats until everything clicks. Tap a person, tap a seat. That’s it. No frantic timers. No headlong scrolling. Just quiet puzzle-work and that sweet "aha" when the last clue locks in. Short break: perfect for subway rides or when you’ve had one too many emails. "Do they sit by the window or near the plant?" I muttered aloud (yes, I talk to games). The UI keeps things tidy — list of clues on one side, the grid on the other — and you can make notes, mark impossibilities, and undo a move without drama. The game weaves optional IQ-style checks into some puzzles: they're small nudge-tests, not pop quizzes meant to humiliate. Expect puzzles to lean on elimination and logic-grid thinking (think: who sits to the left of whom, who likes coffee vs. tea, who can’t sit next to someone), with steadily tougher arrangements as you progress. This isn't a flashy arcade piece. Don't expect gobs of animation or loud rewards. It's intentionally calm. Fans of deduction puzzles, logic-grid fans, and anyone who likes to flex a quiet brain-muscle will find it gratifying. If you need multiplayer, timers, or story arcs — yeah, that's not the point here. But if you want short, fair, and thoughtfully designed seat puzzles that respect your tempo, this one fits. Pause. Breathe. Place the person. Repeat.

Editor's Review

I downloaded Where's My Seat? late one night because I wanted a small, honest brain workout—not a production. I got what I asked for. Levels are short (perfect for a coffee pause) but they pack a sting: one wrong assumption and you can be circling the same three clues for a while. I got stuck on a mid-chapter puzzle for nearly two hours (yes, two). My hands actually sweat a little—no lie. Controls are simple. Tap to assign, tap again to change. Notes are forgiving (you can X out possibilities), which I appreciated when my mental model went sideways. The optional IQ-style checks are smart—use them or ignore them; they don't gate progress, which is a relief. The art is cute, not precious. That said, the game isn't perfect. The progression sometimes jumps—one moment breezy, the next oddly stubborn. I'd like a better hint balance; a tiny “show me one logical step” would save a lot of hair-pulling. "Are you sure Mrs. Lane can't sit beside Tom?" I said to myself, and then cursed when I realized I misread clue three. Classic. Bottom line: this is not flashy, nor is it trying to be. It's a tightly focused logic-puzzle app that rewards patience and attention. If you enjoy small, thoughtful challenges (and you don't mind being mildly roasted by a tricky clue now and then), give it a spin.

Pros

  • Short, bite-sized puzzles ideal for quick breaks or nightly winding-down
  • Clear clue layout with marking tools and undo that prevent frustration
  • Optional IQ-style checks that don’t block progress and add optional depth
  • Calm, focused design—no noisy timers or distracting gimmicks

Cons

  • Difficulty spikes can feel abrupt; some puzzles linger longer than expected
  • Limited visual variety—levels differentiate by logic, not spectacle
  • No multiplayer or competitive modes for social players
  • Hints are minimal; a gentle step-by-step hint option would help
