About this app
Tell the app your scrambled faces and get a 3D move-by-move solution (Pocket/2x2–5x5, Skewb, Pyraminx, Ivy, more). Comes with a speed timer, practice shuffles, lessons and pattern creator. Internet required for solving.
Editor's Review
Okay — here’s the truth. I fed it a messy 3x3 and watched a clean 27-move solution unspool in 3D. Then I threw at it a Pocket Cube (14 moves or less — really). I rage-checked a 4x4 parity for an hour (no joke). The timer and stats actually made me try harder — and fail faster (in a good way). Not perfect: you need internet to get solutions, and the UI can feel a tad utilitarian. But if you want exact steps, practice modes, and the kind of lessons that don’t talk down to you, this app does the job — quick, blunt, useful.
Pros
- Accurate 3D step-by-step solutions for many puzzles (2x2–5x5, Skewb, Pyraminx, Ivy).
- Built-in speed timer with full stats and random shuffles for real practice.
- Lessons and a pattern creator let you learn algorithms and show off neat patterns.
- Very compact move counts on small cubes (Pocket/2x2 solved in ≤14 moves).
Cons
- Requires internet to fetch solutions — offline solving not available.
- UI is functional but could use polish; sometimes menus feel cluttered.
- Advanced parity cases (4x4+) can still stump newcomers — expect a learning curve.
- No built-in multiplayer or community sharing for patterns (yet).
