About this app
Ball Sort Puzzle is the kind of small, annoying, brilliant game you open for five minutes and then—three hours later—your phone's at 3% and your thumbs are raw. The rules are stupidly simple: tap a bottle, move a ball, stack matching colors until each bottle holds one color. No timers, no flashy nonsense, just logic and stubbornness. I got stuck on a level for two hours (yes, two), used the undo like a lifeline, and eventually screamed at my screen in victory. There are thousands of puzzles with rising difficulty and optional extra bottles when you hit a wall. Offline play means flights and subway rides are safe. The UI is clean, controls are tap-to-move, and the game gently trains planning without lecturing you. If you want a quick mental snack or a long, teeth-grinding session, this one fits. Warning: highly addictive. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Editor's Review
Okay—full disclosure: I judged this one by its cover (color bubbles—cute), then I lost three hours and maybe my dignity. This isn't a baby game. It's calm on the surface and then—boom—you make one dumb move and your plan evaporates. Controls are stupidly simple: tap a bottle, tap another. Don't expect gestures or fancy swipes. The undo button is a tiny miracle (use it like your life depends on it). Add-bottle saves are generous, but don't expect them to bail you out every time. Graphics are clean, colors pop, and my phone only warmed up (not overheated) during marathon runs. Ads? Yeah. They show up. Annoying but tolerable—tap restart and move on. No multiplayer, no leaderboard—so no one to flex to, which is sad. I'd love a proper challenge mode or level tags to mark the ones that wrecked me. Bottom line: it's addictive, annoying, and deeply satisfying. I kept coming back. You will too. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Pros
- Thousands of levels that actually escalate in difficulty (you'll notice the jump).
- Offline play — perfect for flights, commutes, or killing time where Wi‑Fi is a joke.
- Simple tap controls plus a reliable undo that saved me more than once.
- Minimal UI: no clutter, colors easy to read even on smaller phones.
Cons
- Ads appear between rounds (they're skippable but still intrusive).
- No leaderboard or daily challenge — limited long-term goals.
- Some puzzles feel repetitive after long sessions; longing for meaningful modes.
- Occasional tap lag on older devices during marathon runs.
