Why This Site Exists

Here's the thing — app stores are broken. You search for something simple, like a notes app or a calendar, and you get hit with 500 options. Half of them are buggy. A bunch are just ad farms disguised as apps. The "top rated" ones? Often paid their way there.

I got tired of it. So I built Paxe.

What Makes Us Different

We don't do sponsored reviews. Ever. If an app shows up on this site, it's because it earned that spot. Someone on our team actually downloaded it, used it for a few days, and decided it was worth sharing.

That sounds obvious, right? You'd be surprised how rare it actually is.

Our Process

No fancy algorithms here. We test apps the old-school way: by using them. We look at stuff that actually matters — does it crash? Is it loaded with ads? Does it do what it claims? Is it worth your storage space?

If an app sucks, we don't feature it. Simple as that.

Who's Behind This

A small team of people who spend way too much time on their phones. We've downloaded thousands of apps over the years — the good, the bad, and the "why does this even exist?" ones. Figured we might as well put that knowledge to use.
