About this app

Everyday Puzzles is a one-stop word-and-brain-teaser pack from Fanatee (the folks behind CodyCross and Stop). I downloaded it on a bored Tuesday and—surprise—I disappeared into a dozen tiny games. You get daily free puzzles plus the whole calendar archive so yesterday’s or last month’s challenge is always one tap away. Modes include crosswords, cryptograms, word searches, Anygram, Hashtag, Connected, Cladder, Sudoku and a social Consensus game (think Family Feud vibes). There’s an XP ladder, badges, streak flames to keep you honest—and a Hard Mode that unlocks at level 10 if you like punishing yourself. Dark Mode? Yep. VIP removes ads (but you can still watch ads for rewards). Not perfect, but if you live on short puzzle hits between errands—this app is that addictive little black hole.

Editor's Review

I’ve put real hours into this one — not just a couple of casual rounds. First: variety. Short session? Play Anygram for five minutes. Want something that makes you swear? Try the Hard Mode after level 10 (that one made me throw a pillow—true story). The Consensus mini-game is a bright idea: guessing what other people answered gives you a weird rush (and occasional smug satisfaction). The calendar archive is gold—don’t expect the app to magically hold your hand though. Rewards, badges and the XP ladder do keep you clicking (guilty). Ads exist unless you go VIP, but you’re not forced into banners—mostly optional videos for coins. UI is clean enough, but some puzzles feel recycled after a while. Overall: a frantic, satisfying puzzle buffet for someone who likes variety and short-term bragging rights (I mean—who doesn’t?).

Pros

  • Huge variety: many distinct mini-games to jump between when you’re distracted
  • Calendar archive: replay past daily puzzles any time (very addictive)
  • Social twist: Consensus and shared XP make friendly competition fun
  • Dark Mode and adjustable sessions for late-night play
  • VIP option removes ads and adds perks without forcing purchases

Cons

  • Ads remain part of the free experience (watch-for-coins model)
  • Some puzzle types repeat patterns — not every round feels fresh
  • Hard Mode can spike difficulty suddenly (prepare to rage-quit)
  • Microtransaction nudges for boosts and coins show up occasionally
  • Occasional UI clutter when switching between many mini-games
