I played Tomb of the Mask until my thumbs cramped. No joke. Vertical pixel mazes, sticky masks, power-ups (shield, magnet, freeze) and lava that never stops creeping. I got stuck on a choke point for an hour—rage quit, then a tiny victory dance when I finally slipped past. Ads are loud and IAP nudges show up (don’t pretend they don’t). But the runs bite—quick, tense, easy to learn, hard to master. Downloaded it from both the App Store and Google Play to double-check. Not perfect. Still wildly fun.

One-touch wall-climb controls feel precise (when you time them right)

Distinct masks that actually change how you play (coins, shields, etc.)
Readable pixel art — enemies and traps stand out even in chaos

Cons

Frequent ads between runs break the flow (yeah, they interrupt you)
Difficulty spikes can feel cheap around rising-lava choke points
Power-up progression leans on randomness — sometimes you don’t get what you need
After long play sessions, level variety starts to blur
